Variation Wine Decanter Aeration Set
Prior to maturity, a young red wine can be quickly awakened by aerating, forcing a maximum exposure to air. The Peugeot Variation Lead-Free Wine Decanter Aeration Set is a hand-blown glass aerating set that features a unique decanter base shape that allows it to stand upright, or rest tilted on its side enabling greater surface contact between the wine and the air, and allows further aeration if swirled before serving. The wine is poured over a hand-blown, fluted, solid-glass stopper. Fluting forces the wine along the sides of the decanter. Capacity is suitable for a standard 750ml bottle of wine.

Made of hand-blown lead-free glass, the Variation Wine Decanter features an unique base shape that allows the decanter to either stand upright or rest tilted on its side. The tilted position increases the surface area of the wine in contact with the air and allows the decanter to be swirled to further aerate the wine. The decanter is topped with a hand-blown solid glass stopper that doubles as an aerator. Fluting on the stopper directs wine down the sides of the decanter as the wine is poured over the stopper into the decanter.
The decanter with stopper stands 9-1/2" tall and has a 25-oz. capacity, suitable for a standard 750-mL bottle of wine. Comes gift boxed.
